Lionel Messi, Bad Bunny and Adidas Gazelle Indoor get a fresh twist
Every now and then the sneaker game throws up an unexpected collab that fires up the crowd. That is exactly what happened when Lionel Messi, Bad Bunny and Adidas teamed up on a special Gazelle Indoor. This limited run is already tipped to be a fan favorite and it stands out with style and sharp details.
A classic in beige, the Cardboard colorway
This unique Gazelle Indoor debuted in the original Cardboard shade, an elegant beige with real character. The upper uses premium leather that goes far beyond standard Gazelle specs. On the sides you get the classic three stripes, this time serrated, with contrasting red signatures of the artist and the footballer. A signature touch lands on the heel where the stripes form the letter “X”. You will also find the Trefoil logo and the Badge of Sport. Turquoise suede hits add pop and a translucent sole ties it all together. Adidas also released a limited box for this pair, a collectible in its own right.
Two stars, two different Adidas stories
Lionel Messi and Bad Bunny are two icons who have worked with Adidas for years. Messi has been with the German brand since 2006 and his go to model is the Samba. The Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny linked with Adidas four years ago and has dropped several original takes since, bringing back silhouettes like the Forum Low and the Response CL.
Will these sneakers take over the market
This collab shows how surprising projects can spark at the crossroads of sport, music and fashion. The Lionel Messi x Bad Bunny x Adidas Gazelle Indoor is more than a sneaker, it is a nod to the style and creativity of both stars. Will it take over the market We will see soon. Gazelle Indoor is available from 26 October in the Adidas Confirmed app.
