ASICS x C.P. Company GEL-QUANTUM 360 I hit the streets
When it comes to footwear for demanding city dwellers, compromises are out of the question. That's exactly why the latest collaboration between two giants is causing such a stir in the streetwear scene. ASICS and the legendary Italian brand C.P. Company are joining forces once again, presenting the GEL-QUANTUM 360 I model and opening the second chapter in their shared history. It's a model that hits the tarmac and dictates its own terms.

A clash of two worlds, redefined
After the massive success of the first installment of this collaboration in January 2024, it's time for the next, much bolder step. We are looking at a fascinating clash of two completely different, yet perfectly complementary design philosophies. On one side stands precise, Japanese technological innovation based on the ASICS "Sound Mind, Sound Body" concept. On the other, we have the Italian culture of functional design that C.P. Company is famous for, rooted in decades of research into innovative materials and technical urban wear.
The result of this fusion is the phenomenal GEL-QUANTUM 360 I model. It's a project that neatly balances between running shoe heritage and a pure, urban attitude. The creators took the absolute best of both worlds, creating a product engineered to move naturally between the zone of peak performance and a hard, street lifestyle.
Architecture in motion: the city as a living organism
The main narrative axis of this project is the fascinating concept of "Architecture in Motion". The designers interpret the modern city not as a collection of dormant buildings, but as a fully dynamic organism. It's a constantly changing environment where movement, complex structures, and performance must coexist at every step. In such an evolving scenario, the shoe ceases to be just a basic item protecting the foot. It becomes a precise tool that accompanies the human body through space, combining refined aesthetics and brutal utility into one cohesive system.
Instead of a mundane launch, both brands organized a highly unusual event at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris. The choice of this venue was by no means accidental. It's not an address you just stroll into straight off the street. This building, usually tightly closed to the general public, stands as a living, architectural monument to international understanding. Instead of a stiff banquet, a select crew from the very heart of street culture took part in a special breathing session. It was led by Bruno Sitton, a specialist in conscious breathing who can perfectly attune the body to the surrounding space. The experience aimed to deeply explore the relationship between the human body, the surrounding architecture, and movement itself.

Technical poetry on a concrete chessboard
Let's get down to what matters most on the street, though: the specific product details. The visual and functional strength of the model is built by the upper, tailored from a double-layer, technical jacquard mesh. This clever material solution not only significantly improves breathability during an intense day but also highlights the shoe's complex architecture, giving it a raw and authentic look. The model itself has already made its mark in the rich ASICS catalog. It originally debuted in 2015 and was the manufacturer's first shoe to integrate 360° GEL technology into the midsole. Over the years, this very solution has become its biggest functional and aesthetic hallmark.
The real devil, however, is in the details that proudly emphasize the shared identity of both brands. The toe box features the logo of the Metropolis Series by C.P. Company. This is a special line of the cult Italian brand, fully dedicated to bold experiments with high-performance materials. On the heel, in turn, you'll find the classic, well-known ASICS spiral motif. The external TPU reinforcement combined with TRUSSTIC technology guarantees ironclad stability and structural support with every step. Meanwhile, the modern FF BLAST PLUS cushioning paired with GEL technology offers exceptional lightness, responsiveness, and long-lasting comfort that you'll appreciate during hours-long treks through the streets of your city.
The whole package is served up in three strong, highly deliberate colorways. The Pure Silver, Moroccan Blue, and Black Beauty options will hit the market. It's worth noting, however, that the navy Moroccan Blue version will be available exclusively at official C.P. Company flagship stores and on the Italian manufacturer's website. The story is similar for the Black Beauty colorway, which will drop exclusively at the official stores of both brands involved in the project.
Release date and price
If you feel that this project is an absolute must-have, keep your ear to the ground. The premiere of the GEL-QUANTUM 360 I will take place as early as March 20, 2026. The shoes will be available through the official sales channels of ASICS and C.P. Company, as well as at selected retailers worldwide. Early info suggests a price tag hovering around 200 £.
